Tiramisu Cinnamon Roll Bake

A delicious twist on traditional tiramisu, these cinnamon rolls are baked with a creamy mascarpone filling and espresso glaze, perfect for brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cooled espresso. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Roll the dough back up into a log and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
  • Arrange the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream and coffee liqueur. Pour over the rolls.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder on top before serving. Enjoy!
